Call for Temporary Projects

Thanks to all who applied!

The Arts, Culture and Design Committee seeks proposals for temporary and youth-led arts, culture and design projects for The Next Fifty, a celebration of the 1962 World’s Fair at Seattle Center planned for 2012. The celebration’s unifying theme is: Illuminating Today’s Challenges, Imagining Tomorrow’s Possibilities. The total budget for all projects is $500,000. $75,000 will be set aside for youth-led projects spearheaded by individuals 24 years or younger. Individuals, curators and institutions are encouraged to submit a Letter of Intent and support materials by July 22, 2011.
